Amy Sieben, P.E.

Analysis Manager

Amy's responsibilities include managing the Analysis project group with regard to cheduling and performance including Flow Accelerated Corrosion (FAC) risk assessments, water chemistry reviews, cycling studies, root cause failure analysis, design review, design upgrades, and performance assessments.  She also performs boiler inspections, operator training, HRSG Academy, and expert witness testimony.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Independent Power Producer — Amy was a principal consultant and then a director for worldwide operations.  She was responsible for standardized operating plans, financials, and reports for a diverse portfolio of acquired and newly built power plants.

U.S. Filter Control Systems — as a project manager, Amy managed projects in the range of $50,000 to $3.3 Million for control systems in the municipal water and sewer market.

Major OEM for Gas Turbine HRSGs — as an applications engineer, she designed HRSGs and auxiliary equipment to meet power production and steam needs internationally and domestically.

Northern States Power Co. — as a student engineer/I&C technician for Riverside Generating Station and an engineer II for Sherburne County Generating Station, Amy was responsible for large steam turbine and feedwater systems operations and overhaul maintenance.
