James Froemming, P.E.

CFO & Applications Engineer

Jim is the chief financial officer, secretary and treasurer of HRST.  In addition to his corporate and commercial responsibilities, Jim performs boiler training, design reviews, performance analysis and testing, feasibility studies and market research.

WORK EXPERIENCE

North Atlantic Technologies — As a VP of engineering for three years, Jim was responsible for management of applications engineering, project management, drafting, research & development and for reducing warranty claims to near zero.

Major OEM for Gas Turbine HRSGs — Jim worked with this company for 14 years.  Positions included an applications engineer, a senior staff engineer, and a sales and marketing manager.  His commercial responsibilities included management of representative network, contract preparation & negotiation, and market research.  Jims technical responsibilities included management of application, inquiry qualification, specification review and product development.

Sundstrand Energy Systems — At Sundstrand, Jim achieved product testing and development of Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) total energy system for two years.
