Project Manager / Product & Design

Rob joined HRST in October 2006 as part of the product sales and design team.  Within this team, he provides consultation, design and documentation for retrofit projects relating to HRST's.  Rob also participates in research and development of new product and upgrades solutions for plant sites.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Major OEM for Gas Turbine HRSGs — for the 15 years as a plant designer, Rob assumed lead role in dersign and layout of components that comprise HRSG's.  He adhered to company and customer specifications and used thermal and structural design data to create or oversee creation of design drawings for detailers, fabricators and vendors for use in manufacturing.

Van Sickle, Allen & Associates — as a drafting technician, Rob created working drawings for steel, concrete and wood structures and equipment layouts.  During his 3 years, he also performed material estimates and prepared bid packages.

Minnesota Army National Guard — for 5 years, Rob's military occupational specialty was a technical drafting specialist in which he accomplished board drafting and design as well as material estimates and surveying.
