HRSGs and fired boilers have many pipes that penetrate through the casing walls, roof and floor areas.  The penetration seal must allow for pipe expansion and withstand the high temperatures and corrosion risks that may accompany the pipe.

HRST has developed several retrofit pipe penetration seals to replace failed or damaged fabric and stainless steel bellows type seals.  HRST can offer a replacement all metal seal that uses innovative seal ring and seal plate strategies, first pioneered by HRST in 1999.  The seal can be installed with no pressure part welding.  If the application is appropriate, we can also offer a retrofit fabric pipe seal kit to replace torn or damage fabric.  We can customize all our pipe seals for your specific application.
