HRSG O&M Training (November 2010)

Scott Wambeke put on a HRSG seminar for our staff that was just excellent. He covered all three gen types including Vogt/Nem, Deltak and Nooter-Eriksen.
The course included information on evaporator pinch and economizer approach as well as all the drum internals. We also covered thermal cycling and how damage can be caused by shocking the tubes.
Scott was very thorough in his approach and we all felt that our time was very well spent. Thanks to HRST, Inc., we can use the information Scott shared to prolong the life of our HRSGs and increase their performance over the long haul.
We will certainly invite Scott Wambeke back to assist us with another seminar in the future and I would recommend him to any organization looking to better understand their HRSGs.

Scott Wambeke does a comprehensive training seminar for our HRSG system owners and operators that really helps keep everyone on the same page.
The seminar begins with an overview of the HRSG system and then graduates into potential problems that can occur with HRSGs. This seminar gives my staff the opportunity to ask questions about problems they have encountered as well as learn about how the technology is evolving.
Scott is always very thorough and takes the time to answer our questions as well as inject his presentation with some humor. This approach keeps my staff's attention and really makes the session worthwhile.

I first met Scott Wambeke in January 2008 at an academy training program in Tucson, Arizona. Scott’s presentation was fantastic. I felt his material was clearly explained and technically sound.
I was so impressed with the presentation that I asked Scott to come and speak to our entire staff. The feedback from the course was very positive. We had scheduling issues with our staff related to Scott’s three eight hour day program. Gratefully, Scott presented his material in a revised two 10 hour day format that made it more accessible to our staff.
