HRST, Inc. provides power plant boiler technical service and products.  We specialize in Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSGs) and Waste Heat Boilers. Our engineers, technicians, and designers pride themselves on performing quality inspections, detailed analysis projects, developing engineered design upgrades, serving as Technical Advisors to plants, and offering professional HRSG training courses to help our clients avoid and solve boiler problems.

Our clients rely on us to help them find problems, determine the root cause and supply the solution in the form of engineering and fabricated components. We have developed a three-step cycle: Inspect. Analyze. Solve.® If our engineers and technicians inspect a boiler and find problems, they can immediately communicate with our design team, and utilize the field data, pictures and history to analyze the problem, and can then provide a solution.

Our understanding of problems, combined with investment in research and development, has resulted in innovative products to help our clients. These products include pipe penetration seals, economizers that resist thermal shock, finned tube gas side cleaning techniques and innovative components to improve boiler lay-up.

INSPECTIONS

We service more than 250 HRSGs, waste heat boilers, and package boilers worldwide every year.

HRST inspectors are engineers practiced in HRSG operation and design. By performing more than 2,400 HRSG inspections since 2008 and now servicing more than 250 annually, we have amassed a remarkable collection of shared experience and know-how. This allows us to be able to recommend practical solutions that solve the problem during the job before we leave the site. Our collective knowledge of design, analysis, operation and inspection of boilers and HRSGs means our team discovers new findings that help current and future clients be aware of problems and maintenance trends.

HRST’s retrofit products are designed to help you avoid future problems and repeat maintenance

HRST engineers, designers and technical advisors inspect and solve many boiler problems during our field service projects. Often the solution is to install a design upgrade to avoid future repeat maintenance or problems. We have designed a group of retrofit products including Pipe Penetration Seals, Viewports, Coil Gas Baffles, Liner & Casing Upgrades, Pressure Parts and Tube Ties & Tube Supports.

HRST boiler and pressure vessel design and retrofit services are certified by The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and The National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors (NBIC).
